Biography

Alexia Hudson serves as Of Counsel to the Jordan Legal Group in criminal related matters. Having served as an Assistant Public Defender for the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward County, Florida, Ms. Hudson has extensive criminal trial experience and has tried numerous cases from misdemeanors to 2nd degree felonies to verdict.

Ms. Hudson received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University in 2008. She earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 2013. While in law school, Alexia  served as the President of the Black Law Student Association and served as a mock trial advocate at the Black Law Student’s Associations Regional Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition.

When Alexia is not engaged in the practice of law, she is an active community advocate for the profession and the local youth. Alexia  is currently the Treasurer of the T.J. Reddick Bar Association. She is a member of the Global Jamaica Diaspora Youth Council whose aim is to increase the connection of young people in the Jamaican diaspora. Ms. Hudson is also the founder of Soulz On A Mission a non-profit organization dedicated to decreasing juvenile delinquency.  As an official partner with William Dandy Middle School, through Soulz on a Mission, Alexia serves as a mentor to the magnet program students. Alexia wears many hats, but when she finds the time, she loves the beach and spending time with her family and friends.
