Biography

Thasaian Jordan serves as the Managing Attorney at the Jordan Legal Group. In this capacity, Ms. Jordan manages the firm’s strategy and growth, and focuses on initiatives that enrich client engagement and community investments. As a practitioner, Ms. Jordan advises businesses and individuals on a wide range of corporate, insurance and estate-planning matters. She also focuses a substantial part of her practice on creditor rights, providing consumer and commercial debt recovery solutions to domestic and international clients. As a part of the firm’s collections practice, Ms. Jordan routinely provides compliance services, advising clients on administrative regulations of governing bodies such as the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission.

Prior to establishing the Jordan Legal Group, Ms. Jordan practiced with two of South Florida’s most prominent law firms where she regularly litigated first-party property insurance disputes involving insurance companies and multi-district, class action defense matters within the travel and telecommunications industry.

Outside of the courtroom, Thasaian participates in local community efforts geared toward the growth and development of young, minority students in their pursuit of achieving collegiate and entrepreneurial success. She often serves as a panelist speaker at youth empowerment summits, law school mentoring and development programs, as well as participating in mock trial competitions for Miami Carol City Senior High School’s Law Magnet Program.

During her legal studies at Nova Southeastern University, Ms. Jordan was the President of the Native American Law Students Association, and active member in the Nova Trial Association, and a mock trial advocate at the Black Law Student’s Associations Regional Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition. Prior to becoming a licensed attorney, Ms. Jordan worked as an experienced paralegal for over eight years.

As a native Carolinian, Ms. Jordan earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management at the historic Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina.
